Hole 9

“Cottons”

My favourite hole on the golf course, a tough short par 4 to end your front 9 that plays even shorter than the yardage by playing downhill. The ideal line off the tee is to draw your tee shot as close to the left edge of the fairway as you can, as it makes for an easier approach to this very difficult green. There is often a lot of cross wind so consider that in your approach to your shot, and the downhill lie which can de loft the clubface. An approach shot missing right of the green will almost result in at least 3 more shots to follow, where the green rolls severely from back right to front left.
