Ashridge Golf Club

Dress Code

We would like our members and visitors to feel relaxed, comfortable and welcome.  We request that all Members and Visitors dress with respect and consideration for others, in keeping with the traditions, character and standing of a Members' Golf Club.
Members and guests are asked to help each other in keeping to the high standards intended.  For the avoidance of doubt, cargo pants, open-toed sandals, sliders, t-shirts, rugby shirts etc are not considered to be appropriate.

ON THE COURSE AND THE PRACTICE FACILITIES

We ask that smart and recognised golf attire is worn. Tailored shorts are requested and shirts should be tucked in, except where they are designed to be worn outside.  Hats should be worn in the conventional way with any peak forward. Golf shoes should always be worn for safety, and we ask that they are not changed in the car park.

IN THE CLUBHOUSE

Clean and dry golf attire or suitable smart casual wear is required. Soft spiked golf shoes are allowed in the Spike Bar (except when indicated otherwise, eg in the winter) provided they are clean and dry.  Visors, hats, wet golf shoes and waterproof clothing should not be worn inside on the 1st floor of the Clubhouse.  In the Dining Room, smart casual clothing may be worn, and clean golfing attire is acceptable during or after a match or competition, unless a specific occasion requires something more formal.  Golf shoes are not permitted in the Dining Room.
