Ashridge Golf Club

Dress Code

We would like our members and visitors to experience us as a friendly, cheerful, and welcoming Club, keeping rules to a minimum. However, we are a traditional golf club and would appreciate if members and visitors respect that in their dress.

LADIES AND JUNIOR GIRLS DRESS CODE

ON THE COURSE

Golf clothes should be smart and suitable in design and appearance for golf.

Blue denim or track suits are not permitted.

Golf shoes, with or without spikes must be worn.

IN THE CLUBHOUSE

The ladies dress code is generally ‘Smart Casual’, but some events may specify their own dress codes.

Golf shoes are permitted in the Spike Bar but only if they are cleaned before entry to minimise the dirt brought inside, and the bar is accessed and exited by the outside staircase.  This applies to any type of golf shoe.

Blue denim or track suits are not permitted.

GENTLEMEN AND JUNIOR BOYS DRESS CODE

IN THE CLUBHOUSE

Dress code will be determined for events but otherwise it is smart/casual throughout the clubhouse, including the dining-room.

Golf shoes are permitted in the Spike Bar but only if they are cleaned before entry to minimise the dirt brought inside, and the bar is accessed and exited by the outside staircase.  This applies to any type of golf shoe.
